my soundcard and me

a band called Stryker

Would you be so kind ?

Stryker was the band I played within from 1983 to 1987 in Paderborn, Germany. We had no album, but played on a sampler and where in radio twice: "Radio Baselis" (Basel, Switzerland) and "WDR1" (today named "1 live", Cologne).

The following MP3 songs are sampled from tapes that are about 13 years old. You may hear that, but if you are interested in hard rock music you can't get anywhere else, check them out !

STRYKER1.MP3
(2584KB)
This Song is recorded at a session in a cellar. Sammys vocals seem to go black metal, but Uwe had a great day. A rough speedy song, taken directly from the mixer, no effects, no overdubs or something like that. It is mostly Uwes song.

STRYKER2.MP3
(3259KB)
A Mainstream song called "Heart in the City", recorded at Delight Studio, Hannover. The main theme is mine.

STRYKER3.MP3
(3823KB)
Recorded with a 4-track-cassette-recorder in Uwes sleeping room. Vocals are by Sascha, 16 years old at that time. Mostly Uwes song.
